NEW "HANGOUTS" by Connect Groups
How are HangOuts different from Connect Groups?
The key difference is that HangOuts are more focused on socializing and less structured. Connect Groups are more structured and the focus is around a study (Bible, book, video, or sermon review) and prayer - and also lots of social time, while a HangOut is strictly for fun and connecting with others. If you’re looking for something more, join a Connect Group, too! You’re doing HangOut activities with others anyway... why not enjoy it with people from church?

What are Connect Groups?
A Connect Group is an intentional gathering of people where you can connect with others on a regular basis who share your interests, who are at a similar stage in life, or who have experience in an area where you would like coaching and/or support. Our groups are categorized into four areas:
Why should I join a Connect Group?
It is through doing life together that our problems become smaller and God uses others to bring healing, support and encouragement to our lives—whether we realize we need it or not. Your Connect Group will quickly become a place where others don’t just know your name, but care about what is happening in your life.
How often do Connect Groups meet?
Our Connect Groups meet for three semesters a year—spring (13 weeks), summer (6 weeks), and fall (13 weeks). During the semester, most groups meet once a week. During this time of Covid19 most of our groups are meeting on line using Zoom. A few have decided to meet in-person or a hybrid using both in-person and Zoom.
Connect Groups are meant to bring meaning and community into the flow of your life so even if you can’t attend every single meeting, there is still great value in joining a group.
We know that people’s schedules are busy, but that most people can make a 13 week commitment. This gives you an opportunity to join a Connect Group, meet some great people, grow in your faith, and then decide if you want to stay with that group or try a different one.
