Come take a look at the core beliefs of our church, ask your questions and learn more. Topics will include who is God, salvation through Jesus, foundations and belief in the Bible, baptisms, mission of the church and more. Format will be both teaching and small group discussion. We especially encourage anyone leading people in our congregation to take part in this so that we can equip you to answer the questions people in your group or ministry might ask you!
This group will meet from January 13 to April 14, 2019
This course will explore the book Emotionally Healthy Spirituality. The author, Pete Scazzero, found two truths to be true: you can't be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature, and unless you slow and quiet your life down for a first-hand relationship with Jesus Christ, little change is possible. The integration of these two truths unleashed a spiritual revolution in Scazzero, in his church, and now in thousands of other churches. This course will be taught by Preston Turpin, Spiritual Life Director for Virginia Academy.
This class meet January 13 to March 17, 2019
